A church is only a building, but a congregation is a family. The family that works together becomes a strong and loving unit. As members of our church family, we all need to work together to become a strong and loving unit.

Lay Leadership: To ensure that the congregation has a process for discovering, inviting, nominating, and supporting people for Christian spiritual leadership positions essential to the ministries of nurture and outreach in our congregation and community.
Staff/Parish Relations (SPR): To support your pastor and other staff so that these people can work effectively in managing the ministries of your congregation for witness and service.
Trustees: To supervise and maintain all real property and investments belonging to your congregation so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective.
Finance: To propose, raise, manage, and distribute the financial resources of the congregation to support and strengthen the mission and ministry of the congregation.
Lay Leaders: To work with your church’s leadership to address the hopes and concerns of your congregation and community so that your community may become more loving and just.
Education Team: To provide learning experiences for people of all ages so that they may grow in understanding the gospel and become better equipped for daily living as faithful Christian disciples. (Teachers of children – adult , shepherds, helpers, youth leaders)
Missions: To involve the congregation in spreading the gospel through witness and service throughout the world. – local and global
Spiritual Growth: To work with your pastor to provide opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible study groups, classes, retreats and fellowship and alternative times and styles of worship.
Library Team: To ensure the congregation and community have a quality library of Christian resources available. Material selection, shelving, promotion and resourcing.
Visitation: To visit shut-ins, nursing home, people who are grieving, or are recently home from surgery/hospital stay. To provide contact as a representative of the church.
